Protecting Biodiversity in a Time of Climate Crisis
Posted Apr 10, 2021
Climate change is one of the top threats to species and ecosystem health. In New Brunswick, ecosystems and species face sea level rise, changing temperatures, and habitat loss. At the same time, a lot is being done to protect the natural areas and species that we know and love against climate change.
To learn about these threats and solutions, join the Biodiversity Collaborative in the afternoon of April 13 for their annual biodiversity conference.
This year will feature research talks related to biodiversity and climate change including; marine protected areas, coastal ecosystems, soil and forest biodiversity, and more! The conference will also include a science communication workshop, as well as networking sessions.
