Posted May 06, 2022
Forest owners, forestry professionals, and others are invited to join the Nashwaak Watershed Association for a day in the woods to learn about climate-focused forest management!
Megan de Graaf from Community Forests International will lead participants through the evaluation of forest stands for climate risk, as well as how to use climate-focused resources to determine the best intervention for a variety of forest stands.
This workshop is most suitable for forest professionals and landowners who have an interest in actively managing forests to increase climate resilience and carbon storage.
Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own lunch and water. More details on the exact location within the woodlot will be provided to participants closer to the workshop.
