Evaluating stand risk and identifying prescriptions

On Thursday, February 17, the Atlantic Forest Research Collaborative will be hosting a webinar on climate-focused forest management with Megan de Graaf, the Climate Forest Program Director at Community Forests International.
Megan will identify the principal factors to consider when evaluating a forest stand for intervention, when the desired outcome is increased climate resilience and increased carbon storage capacity. This workshop will be especially relevant to forest professionals who will be able to use some of the tools that Megan will reference in her presentation, including silviculture prescriptions developed with Gareth Davies from the Maritime College of Forest Technology and the New Brunswick Federation of Woodlot Owners.
